Craft Your Own Hand Drum Workshop

Join us on April 22 from 5:00–8:00 PM for a special evening where you will craft your own 14-inch hand drum and drumstick (mallet)—a powerful instrument for rhythm, meditation, ceremony, and healing.

All materials are included, and each drum will be made on a round maple frame. You will have the opportunity to choose your drum head from deer, elk, horse, or bison (buffalo) hide, each offering its own unique tone and energetic quality.

Elk – Elk hides create beautiful drums with rich, warm tones. The vibration of Elk is believed to support the third chakra, helping to cleanse and purify while guiding us toward unity with spirit and our original grace. Because of its balanced tone and energy, Elk is often recommended for those creating their first drum.
